Hi Guys,
I'm facing some problems with the last 5 versions of RT-N16 on my unit.
The signal strengh is not good ... my router is the living room - near to cable box ... 100mb optical fiber connection + 20 mb docsis cable ...
No matter what i do to make the signal good for using in my bed room ( 20 metters away 3 simple walls only ) and i cannot have a good signal.
its always slow or poor.
It used to be very strong on firmware original 1.x ( bad gui ) ... now on that fancy very good gui ... even i connect to 270mb or 300mb ... or 150mb ... on my devices - galaxy s2, lenovo w510 notebook with intel 5300, 5100, broadcom bcm4332 ( osx like ) ... the signal is bad bad bad ...
How do i fix it ? how to have the good old signal strengh back ??
I can be beta tester anytime ... just please work on wifi to make this router better ;)
