My ISP, Telus, supplies an Actiontec V1000H with new IPTV installs. It was crippled by Telus and didn't come close to providing for my needs, so I've replaced it with an RT-N66U.
So far everything seems to be working fine, except for my PVR setup. On the old hardware I was able to see recordings from my Cisco CIS430 STB/PVR on my other Cisco CIS330 STB. It's not working anymore. Both STBs stream TV just fine and are pulling IP addresses directly from Telus.
WAN IPTV setup:
STB port - LAN4 (Netgear GS108E has STBs isolated from the rest of the LAN)
Use DHCP routes - RFC3442 & Microsoft
Enable multicast routing - Yes
Enable efficient multicast forwarding - Yes
UDP Proxy(Udpxy) - 0
Does anyone know how Microsoft Mediaroom functions in this situation and how to set it up?
Thanks!
