Have an n66u router that has worked flawlessly for weeks and all of a sudden two days ago none of my wired or wireless devices can stay connected. The issue seems to be with the DHCP server. It is assigning a single MAC multiple IPs, and others are not being given an address at all. I have 10 clients total, some wired but mostly wireless, and the client list goes between 4 and 30 clients in he list in minutes. Then back down to 0.
Have now tried multiple types of firmware, Merlin included, and now have stock .260 from Asus going. I erased the nvram when applying .260 and it actually became stable for about 12 hours. Back to huge issues with connections not staying up for more than a minute. Even the wired connections are so unstable that I can't reliably use the admin UI.
Sound like a bad device and need to return it for another?
