Scanner on USB-port shows up as a modem?

RT-AC68U with 3.0.0.4.374.38_2

I'm not sure if my post belongs here but I'll give it a try.

I've tried to get my Epson scanner to work on USB port on the router to without any luck.
The scanner only shows up when I press the 3G icon and not USB-device.
See attachement.

Is this normal? Shouldn't the scanner show in USB-devices?
