Hey all-
Just picked up a new "white knight" lol a few weeks back and a little confused about the DNS configuration. I have unchecked connect to DNS automatically setting or whatever it is in the WAN menu and listed (2) DNS servers there but when I do an ipconfig /all it shows the routers ip as the DNS?
Previously when I used a different router it would actually show the DNS ip's of the ISP or whatever you put in there under network adapter settings. I am confused why the router is using itself as the DNS gateway...or whatever?
Also wanted to mention...for as many positive reviews I read on this particular routers wifi abilities (as far as range) I am not to impressed. Not sure that I get any better coverage than my old wifi setup which was 13 years old!
Thanks....
