RT-AC66U - Ports not being forwarded

2 days ago port stopped being forwarded on my RT-AC66U. A few days before that I had updated to the latest Merlin build 3.0.0.4.372.31, but everything was working.

I have tried reverting to a previous revision and I have tried clearing the nvram several different ways.

My current test setup is as follows:
Internet
Motorola NVG589 (Lan IP 192.168.1.254)
Laptop (192.168.1.71) and RT-AC66U (192.168.1.64)
RT-AC66U (Lan IP 192.168.2.1)
Server (192.168.2.40) Desktop (192.168.2.39)

The server has ssh on port 22 and a webserver running on 32400.
I am able to connect to it form the desktop inside the asus router.
When I try to connect from the laptop to the server the connections timeout.

I have Port Forwarding enabled with the following setting:
ssh 22 192.168.2.40 BOTH
Plex 32400 192.168.2.40 BOTH

I also have tried disabling HW Acceleration.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong with the configuration or do you think there is a problem with the hardware?
