Strange speed problems RT-N56U

Hi
First post on this forum that i enjoyed alot since i found it.
I have 100/25 mbit/s fiber in my home. Static IP via IPoE. Until 2 days ago I had it hardwired to one of the computers and was getting nice speeds 95+/20+.
Since i wanted to connect all my computers to the network i bought a Asus RT-N56U and set it up. Now im getting high latency and REALLY slow speeds at about 28/3 mbit/s. This is hard wired. Wireless I get abit better but only by a few mbits. If I plug the cord straight into the computer again without the router I get 100/25.

Ive tried:
Exchanging the router at the store for another unit
Changing the firmware to Padawan
Firewalls on and off.
QoS on and off
The useful tips in this thread http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/sh...ad.php?t=11088
Changing the wires (all cat5e)

Has anyone experienced this before? Its driving me mad. Really like the RT-N56U so it would be a shame to exchange it. Besides I wanna solve it.
Any tips is appreciated.

Thanks
Dr.F
