This has already been posted many times on the forums over the months. This is a bug with the PPTP VPN broadcast support, disable Samba/Broadcast support under PPTP to get rid of them.
I'm really glad google brought me here. I've been trying to find out the cause of this for months. Asus tech couldn't answer my question.

My question is. I've been chasing a router reboot issue. It likes to reboot under heavier usage. I have the AC66U and I would get crazy numbers like this snipit from my log

Aug 22 00:43:15 kernel: printk: 2499 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:20 kernel: printk: 2943 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:25 kernel: printk: 7803 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:30 kernel: printk: 5060 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:35 kernel: printk: 5625 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:40 kernel: printk: 7269 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:45 kernel: printk: 6341 messages suppressed.
Aug 22 00:43:50 kernel: printk: 4883 messages suppressed.

could this have been adding to the workload and causing my reboots? I've gone through 2 RMA's and they actually sent me different ac66u all have the same issue. And all were tested good by Asus.

I think I'll enjoy the site.

Thanks
Phil
