Wired and wireless network strategies

Hello,

I currently have a wired and wireless network that are separate VLANs at the router (a Zywall), and I want to keep them that way, but I when I added a wired digital preamp to play audio to the network and I am confronted with iPad and iPhone Wi-Fi apps for control.

This obviously creates an issue, with mixing the wired and wireless networks – something I am loathe to do. I can get around the issue with Bluetooth, but I see that in the future I may not avoid all issues as I look at other streaming video products.

How have you dealt with the issue?
