Hi all,
I have an RT-N56U. I am trying to use the built-in DLNA server to stream videos from an attached hard drive to my Sony Blu-Ray player (BDP-S390). I can see the files perfectly fine from within the Blu-Ray player interface, but when I try to play them, I get an error saying that they are 'corrupt or unsupported' or something like that.
The files play perfectly from a USB drive attached directly to the Blu-Ray player, so the problem is definitely with the DLNA streaming somehow. The files are all H.264 in mkv format.
I am running stock Asus firmware version 3.0.0.4.360. I can't find any settings for the Media Server other than basic ON/OFF so that I can try to fix this problem. How can I change settings for the Media Server? If that is not possible, will the custom 3rd party firmware discussed elsewhere on this forum allow me to adjust DLNA settings so that I can play my files?
Thanks.
