VPN Recommendations

Hi Everyone,

I'm inexperienced with VPN and looking for recommendations. I'm a sole-proprietor and host SugarCRM on a Synology NAS within my network. I'd like to be able to access SugarCRM when traveling. I might transfer a file or two remotely, but I don't envision doing any significant file transfers. My main goal is to update and access SugarCRM remotely. Currently my router is a DIR-655.

To accomplish remote access, I'm guessing that I need a new router with VPN and not a full UTM device. Security is important. Any recommendations or thoughts?
